100-Mile Radius Potluck in Richmond

Hi, all. Yesterday, some residents of Richmond, Indiana assembled to see how well they could meet a particular "eat local" challenge: could they produce a meal for each other where all of the ingredients came from within 100 miles of their home? We called it the 100-Mile Radius Potluck, and you can see a video about the results here:

A big Indianapolis salute to Richmond!---nice work y'all---and nice job on the video, Chris. The dishes looked great---do any of you have recipes to share?---what were those squash cakes or squash patties? Do you find this valuable?

No recipes to share just yet, although we've contemplated the idea of putting together a list. And yes, they were squash patties, and quite delicious! Do you find this valuable?
