Spirit & Place 2008 - Exploring Imagination

Help us come up with a program for the next festival on the theme of re-imagining Indy. How can we envision the future of Indianapolis together? How can we uncover and marshal our collective assets to imaginatively address the issue of sustainability?

Come to the Spirit & Place Program at Christian Theological Seminary on Saturday, November 9th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. It is called "Youth Imagining a Just, Sustainable and Peaceful Community". Earlier in the day, five youth groups will each create artistic renderings of their ideal community. The afternoon program will have community leaders responding to the artwork. They include Dr. Carol Johnston of CTS, Tim Nation of Peace Learning Center, Keni Washington of Earth Solar Technologies, Brian Payne of Central Indiana Community Foundation, and Judy O'Bannon, former First Lady of Indiana and host of "Communities building Community".
