History: Begun in 1998 by Joe Davis and Jeanne Leimkuhler, who wanted to bring together people interested in natural building. It became a project of the Center for Sustainable Living.

Mission: Provide an information and networking resource for people in the Bloomington area who wish to explore natural and sustainable building techniques.

Results: Spearheaded the building of the first straw bale house in Bloomington with Habitat for Humanity, assisted in building a cordwood hermitage at Mt. Gilead Friends Retreat, present approximately ten natural building related presentations per year and facilitate approximately five field trips per year.
