The Indiana Sustainability Alliance was launched March 19, 2008 with a talk by Michael Walsh of the Chicago Climate Exchange in downtown Indianapolis. The Alliance will promote the growth of the sustainable development, green building, renewable energy, water management, and clean technology industries in Indiana.

The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce's Green Business Initiative is to promote the interest of businesses that are committed and engaged in environmentally responsible operations and practices, also known as "green" business practices.

Indiana Green Business Network - a referral-marketing network that promotes green businesses through structured and systematic process of word of mouth advertising, mutual referrals and collaborative marketing.
