Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, M.A. in Earth Literacy COMMON GOAL in Indianapolis 1,000 volunteer mentors needed to help Indianapolis reach its "Common Goal" Indianapolis educators and business leaders have a common goal: they want to help more kids graduate high school and join the work force. And their goal is very specific: they seek to increase high school graduation rates from 70% to 80%. To reach this goal, the kids and the educators need help from the community. That's where Smaller Indiana may be able to help. | Environment Cope Environmental Center - Richmond Hoosier Riverwatch has been training citizen volunteers in water quality monitoring since 1996. It is a state-sponsored initiative of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. Koinonia Environmental and Retreat Center - a nature preserve operated by Mancester College offering environmental education for the community and teaching opportunities for its students. Merry Lea Environmental Center - a state nature preserve operated by Goshen College and the Nature Conservancy, located about half way between Goshen and Fort Wayne. Rieth Village |
